Veteran of lyfe: First Questions...How long have you been at the music and was rapping your first choice?

DEADEKCO954: well it all started around 3rd grade with my step brother David aka child-x,we were goin threw our big brothers shit and found the ringmaster cd,didnt really like it at first but then it got catchy after awhile,then bout 3 years past in 6th grade we were rappin in a group called "Crash and Burn" we never had a good mic or anythin we use to jus write shit down without a beat and jus try and wing it from their,but then 7th grade was around the corner and i had just got the hang of rappin and we made a group called "CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT"and we had our first song "MURDER then rape" which is a fuckin classic soo from then on we adopted our names child-x and dead ekco and created the rap group "HOMICIDAL MISFITS" and thats our permint group name so we have been rapping for awhile now.

Veteran of lyfe: So How did you get the name dead ekco did you have an ekco die and you cried for days and every nick named you that?

DEADEKCO954: no actually when i was lil kid we use to play super hero's and what not and they use to call me ekco so then we pretended we were all zombiez lol and then i got the name dead ekco,and i had forgotten that name for awhile til my mother showed me the pictures i drew of myself,then i thought it was a pretty catchy and good name so i kept it from then on.

Veteran of lyfe: for a while i was called meatball...so i know how it is.....

Veteran of lyfe: so what goes thru your head when you sit down and listen to a beat when you get an idea to write?

DEADEKCO954: well seriously,i usualy dont base my music on everyday things,i use my imagination alot i sometimes compare myself to "KILLA C" which is one of my favs,and jus think to myself noone can hurt me in this underground rap game and let my mind speak

DEADEKCO954: yup yup 14 years old

Veteran of lyfe: ah thats right you were tellin me about a show cummin up in august is it 1-4 shows or a nation wide tour?

DEADEKCO954: trying to go nation wide im actually goin coast to coast right now but still lookin for places to perform,i also gotta solo coming out soon called "DEAD EKCO-THE UNDERGROUND PROPHECY"which is probally my best accoplishments yet.

Veteran of lyfe: i see and i was just gonna ask you if you had anynew projects/albums/collabs cummin up?

DEADEKCO954: hell yuh i got alot actually im trying to get one with "TECH NINE" but damn that man charges 2 g's to do a collab but i cant accept that this is an underground rap game and were all in it together nobody should charge for collabs,but yuh i got alot of projects coming up,i got music video's and an actualy online movie that im workin on rite now.

DEADEKCO954: hmmmm well if already done one with "shy one" who is the shit and ive done one with you which was the fuckin shit 1 of my favs's but i would probaly wanna do a collab with twiztid,cuz they are the deepest one's rite now and they have done alot of inspiration for me.

DEADEKCO954: haha well its beeenn a long fuckin time since i smoked that shit really isnt me,but i like to ocassionaly,my fav bud is probaly crippy or super skunk.the best of the best that ive smoked.

Veteran of lyfe: i feel ya on that i hate smokin bud i more of a cigg guy even then i dont like smokin at all now a days

DEADEKCO954: hell nah im bringin everybody i know with me even if they are haters i will bring em up with me cuz they are sometimes the fuel to my fire,and i know for sure i wont forget bout u.

DEADEKCO954: hell fuck yuh i roll with a big crew we atleast on a daily basis roll with bout 15-20 cuz i also live with my homies cuz i got a mad fuckin big house and i met sum homie from da mall and let em stay at my crib,and some people like these pussy kids that say they are all in gangs aint shit i hate fuckin gangs seriously thats y im a juggalo cuz i say fuck the world and all the fuckin stupid people that always try to start shit,but yuh i got alot of katz i roll with im also the only white kid in another rap group of mine the 954 clique we are pretty tight but the other members are lookin for mainstream and i aint but its all coo
